Regular: Court bouillon poached salmon with cucumber dill crème fraiche, ancient grain medley, seasonal vegetable
Vegetarian: Vegetable stack of marinated and grilled vegetables, served with roasted tomato coulis
Dessert: Molten chocolate cake with whipped cream and berry garnish OR fresh fruit

For nearly 20 years, Embracing Our Differences has amazed us, challenged us, and inspired us with its annual large-scale, juried art exhibition. The billboard-sized artwork is displayed January through March on our bayfront, and at locations in North Port and Bradenton through May. The artwork and accompanying quotes, submitted by artists and writers from around the world, are meant to inspire people to create a world that embraces diversity, respects differences, and actively rejects hatred and prejudice.

We welcome the executive director of Embracing Our Differences, Sarah Wertheimer, as the speaker for our January luncheon. Sarah will fill us in on how the non-profit uses the transformative power of art to celebrate the diversity of the human family.

Sarah has served as director of development at The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, and as development coordinator at Children First. She sits on the DEI Committee for EDC of Sarasota County, the Sarasota County Schools Equity Committee, and the School District of Manatee County's Diversity Committee. Sarah was born and raised in Sarasota and is passionate about exposing our community to the concepts of diversity and inclusion and helping create a world where individuality is celebrated. Sarah was selected by SRQ Magazine as one of Sarasota's "30 Under 30."
